| CEG is a growing company that supports a national network
of experienced professionals, each and every one willing to serve the diverse customers in the Collision Repair Industry.
CEG was founded out of hardship; all of the founding members were successful BlackhawkTM and KansasJackTM distributors, working under the distribution umbrella of Snap-OnTM industries. The parent company (Snap-On) decided to do all of their own distribution and sales, and suddenly "fired" all of the distribution network.
Now these guys and gals had over the years built up a successful distribution network and suddenly found that they were no longer "allowed on the playground". After a few weeks of discussion and evaluation it was concluded that they really didn't want to wring their hands and whine.
An organization was formed in 2003 called the Collision Equipment Group (CEG) and everyone set out to build a new, better, kinder distribution network. It quickly grew into a strong and responsive network of talented individuals; each bringing their own unique perspectives and talents into the group.
CEG was acquired by Tasco Auto Color early in 2008. The rapid growth of CEG called for a more centralized management and stronger support logistics available from Tasco. Tasco Auto Color has a long and successful track record since its beginnings in 1953. This new guidance allows the original founding members and all of the new members to better focus on sales, service, and the future changes and challenges that face shop owners and managers. The new CEG has the same distribution network and the same talented group that has, and will continue, to help you with your local service needs.
This is a "can-do" team of talented people, ready to serve you.
